Choosing Against War: A Christian View: A Love Stronger Than Our Fears

Choosing Against War: A Christian View - John D. Roth I once asked my professor Stanley Hauerwas which book on Christian nonviolence he would suggest as the primary text for a course at a local church. He recommended Roth's work. Choosing against War gives a great theological overview of nonviolence. Parts can be a bit dense, requiring patience and a willingness to slog through the material. But on the whole, Roth's work is accessible to professional and amateur theologians alike. Very well done!
